In his second year in the NBA, Anthony Davis is showing all the potential and the skills that turned him in the first draft pick in the 2012
He’s averaging 20,4 points, 10,4 rebounds and 3,4 blocks per game, shooting with the 51,5% from the field and the 76,1 from the free throw line. If he will keep these numbers until the end of the season he will be the first players to finish a season with 20+ points, 10+ rebounds and 3+ blocks since Shaquille O’Neal did it, in the 1999-2000 season (29,7 pts, 13,6 rbds, 3 blks).
Plus, no players had those numbers in the first two year of career since Shaq and Alonzo Mourning in 1992-1993 season.
Davis did great improvements since last year, there are still parts of his games that needs to be refined, but keep working in this way he will be the new great big man of the league for many years.
